How does it work?

Faster Campaigns is able to provide high-quality tools and support at low prices because we have streamlined the process of procuring a payment gateway, merchant account and donation page management system into a single process. When you sign up, you are immediately given access to your administrative tools so that you can build and customize your own donation pages and other site content.
 
Parallel to your site customization, you will work directly with a FasterCampaigns Account Services Specialist to set up a Signapay merchant account and an NMI payment gateway. Faster Campaigns is an authorized Independent Sales Agent of Signapay and an authorized reseller of NMI.  Because of these long-standing relationships, we have sped up the setup process so that we can turn around a soup-to-nuts donation processing system in less than 48 hours.
 
If you have your own merchant account and/or payment gateway, we are happy to work with you on a customized solution.  However, because we are not familiar with your services, it may be more cost effective to simply procure new accounts that work seamlessly with our system.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing is as follows: 
 
  • 2.9% + $0.35 per transaction
  • $250 set up
  • $35/$55/$75 per month, depending on your plan.
     

How do you bill me?

All billing is done through automatic debits from your organization's bank account.  There will be two transactions that are run monthly:
 
  • Your Merchant Account bill - This bill will take out the 2.9% from every transaction that is run.
  • Your Payment Gateway bill - This bill will take out the $0.35 per transaction and the monthly service fee.

What do I need to launch a FasterCampaigns donation page? 

You will need a bank account, EIN number and basic contact information for your business or organization. You can view a sample account application here or contact us with questions.
 

Why do I need to get a merchant account?

A merchant account is a type of bank account that allows you to take credit and debit cards as payment.  Without it, you wouldn't be able to have accept credit cards online.
 

Why not use a payment aggregation service which doesn't require a merchant account?  

If you're looking to create a rock-solid payment infrastructure, using an aggregator services is less than optimal. In short, our solution is more cost-effective, easier to manage, easier to integrate and more flexible. Learn more. 
 

Why do I need to get a payment gateway?

A payment gateway is a service that coordinates all of your online transactions, from authorizing credit cards, settling funds, performing voids and all of the other tasks that you’ll need to do when you are processing credit cards.

We have implemented our own system, the Faster Campaigns gateway, which was built utilizing the infrastructure of industry leader NMI.

Will your system handle large spikes in web traffic?

We built our entire service on top of Amazon Web Services, which allows us to automatically grow when our system gets close to hitting capacity.  No matter how big of a spike in traffic, we can handle it.
 
Let's say you're sending a mailing to millions of people, and are expecting hundreds of thousands of clicks and tens of thousands of donations in a very short period of time. Our system is built with that kind of traffic in mind.  
 

What kind of customer support do you offer?

We are obsessed with making our customers happy. Our support has always been and will remain responsive, personal and knowledgeable. We offer guaranteed phone or email-based customer support from 9AM-5PM PST.  You can call us at 888.788.2388, email us, tweet, Facebook us any time during those hours and we will respond. We are also well-versed in the exigencies of political campaigns, and are staunch supporters of many of our candidates and organizations we serve.  Because of this, you'll often find us working at night or on the weekends to support our customers' needs.
